5th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013
Theme : \"1 World, 1Malaysia and 1 Fiesta\"


More than 20 hot air balloons from 14 countries will festoon Putrajaya\'s sky during the 5th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2013 from March 28 to 31 at Monument Alaf Baru at Precinct 2, Putrajaya. During this 4 days event, hot air balloons flown by distinguished balloon pilots from countries like United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Poland, Australia, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam will dot the sky over Putrajaya.


This year, the fiesta will also see the return of the widely-talked about and highly anticipated \'night glow\' event on the night of March 30 (Saturday) where the balloons light up in a synchronised manner to the sound of music, culminating in a fireworks display.


The annual fiesta is jointly organised by AKA Balloons Sdn Bhd and Malaysian Sports Aviation Federation (MSAF), supported by Perbadanan Putrajaya. No admission fee will be imposed on visitors to the fiesta. Visitors to the fiesta can look forward to hot air balloons in the shape of the monkey, clown, cat and the famous cartoon character - The Smurf and Buzzy.

The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is a home grown event that seems to have gained interest from the public and media.

The uniqueness of the event draws everyone from all around Malaysia and neighboring countries. For the past few years, we have exhibited hot air balloon shows and other aviation sports to the public. It encourages family togetherness by having fun with variety of activities for all ages. Held during school holidays, it is the perfect time for a quick family getaway.

Corporates has also taken opportunity to introduce new products, give out product samples, increase brand awareness and even increase sales for their product during the 4 days event.
