Founded in 2002 by 3 leading professional bodies, namely the Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM), the Malaysian Dietitians Association (MDA) and the Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO), the primary objectives of NMM is to create greater awareness of diet related diseases (or NCDs), and to promote healthy eating & active living as the keys to stay free from diet related diseases.
Taking place at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 04-05 May 2013, This year NMM will focus on the topic of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) under the theme \"Eat Right, Be Active: Stay free from diet-related diseases\".

# Outdoor Mini Carnival
A 1-day outdoor mini carnival (in conjunction with local authorities such as MPSJ, MBPJ) with the focus on eating right and being active to stay free from NCDs :
- Educational, fun-filled and interactive activities (eg understanding food labels, mascot appearance)
- Educational materials giveaway by NutriCruiser Team
- Nutrition screening and healthy eating advice by Nutritionists & Dietitians
