The UFTAA Congress Kuala Lumpur 2013 is a four-day event which will comprise of a one-and-a-half day Global Travel & Tourism Conference, a half-day UFTAA General Assembly and a one-day Excursion Tour to the State of Selangor. MATTA (Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents) has been given the honor by UFTAA to host this auspicious event to showcase Malaysia to the key players in the Travel and Tourism Industry from different parts of the world.

The objective of the Global Travel & Tourism Conference, themed ‘Remodeling the Travel & Tourism Industry - eNOW!\', is to update the stakeholders in the Travel and Tourism Industry, especially the Travel Agents and Tour Operators of the fast changing landscape of the industry and the rapid move forward towards embracing the Power of Technology in enhancing the global travel trade business. Knowing the direction the Industry Supply Chain is heading and how that will impact the Travel Agents and Tour Operators is another important objective of this Conference. The Conference will also address the importance of sustaining the Travel Industry and The Environment of which the travel & tourism trade is surviving on.
