International Medical Device Exhibition and Conference (IMDEC) is Malaysia’s premier flagship platform for the global MedTech community. Established by the Medical Device Authority (MDA) in 2017 and 2019 as a conference (known as International Medical Device Conference (IMDC)), it evolved into a comprehensive exhibition and conference hub in 2024 and is now held biennially (every two years).

IMDEC 2026, themed “Revolutionizing Medical Technology: Powering Tomorrow’s Era of Healthcare,” underscores Malaysia’s ambition under NIMP 2030 to lead ASEAN as a hub for innovation, regulatory excellence, and high-value MedTech growth. By bringing together regulators, industry leaders, investors, researchers, and healthcare professionals, IMDEC 2026 will showcase cutting-edge technologies, drive strategic investment and R&D, foster regulatory convergence, and strengthen public–private collaboration to build a resilient MedTech ecosystem.
